Dancing by the Power Ministry
Ministry Update:
Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 22 the DPM Gospel Lights had the opportunity to take part in the annual Jubilate Worship and the Arts Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina at Edenton United Methodist Church.
DPM Artistic Director, Ronya-Lee Anderson, taught technique classes in West African dance and Modern dance. She also led seminars on Performance vs. Ministry and Dancing in Spirit and Truth. DPM also had the privilege of ministering in dance during Sunday worship at Fulfilled Promise Tabernacle. It was a time of learning, teaching, growth and basking in the glory of God.
Upcoming Events:
- On Sunday, April 19 at 6pm the DPM Gospel Lights will present a free dance offering at Annandale United Methodist Church (6935 Columbia Pike Annandale, VA 22003). “The Word Made Flesh: An Evening of Sacred Dance and Poetry” will be a time of encountering the very Spirit of God as children, youth and adults join together to give expression to God’s Word.
- On Friday, April 24 at 7pm DPM Gospel Lights will join Lighthouse Ministries International in worship and ministry through dance.
- On Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2 DPM Gospel Lights will travel to Pennsylvania for their annual retreat. This will be a time of rest, reflection, and the practice of spiritual discipline.
- On Saturday, June 13 at 6:30pm the DPM Gospel Lights will be joined by other DPM affiliates in a concert of healing and deliverance. Join with us as we use movement to lift up in prayer people, cities, states, and nations.
